After taking a few-days break, we're back for the New Year! Happy New Year to all those dog-lovers out there! Scottsdale BARK hopes that 2009 is even bigger, better, and brighter than last-year, so make sure that you and your furry friends have a happy and healthy 2009!

You would think that when I am up throughout the night, and finally up for good around 5:00 A.M. that we would be blaming Boris the puppy. Nevertheless, both Zola and Boris slept just fine, so it was me that could not sleep.

Sunday started off with minimal sleep and a chilly dark day outside. I couldn’t expect daylight so early in the morning, nor could I anticipate any company up with me so early. Needless to say, Boris is still a puppy, so you’d think that – when I’m up – he’s up. Not so the past few-days since he has been under the weather.

Our little pup Boris is feeling much better, and seems to be getting back to his usual self. Boris was under the weather for the past day and a half, where he slept, slept, and slept some more. Now, if that was the schedule of our older Mastiff, Zola, than things would basically be the same. Nevertheless, Boris is a 5-month old puppy; therefore, sleeping the day away is far from his style.
