Puppies&Pee-Wees is all about KIDS and DOGS! Whether you have one-dog in the family, or maybe multiple-dogs in the family, we want to use this section to talk about KIDS and their BESTEST of FRIENDS . . . their dog(s)!

Education is extremely important when it comes to everything from picking the right breed for your family and your family lifestyle; whether or not one-dog is best for the household, or maybe having two-dogs is best for you and your family. I believe that the entire process is very important; let’s face it – your little prince and/or princess is going to be a part of the family for years to come! Let’s make sure we’re not only prepared for the first-day they come home – let’s also make sure that you’re never going to contemplate getting rid of the dog(s) you just brought home to the family.

Scottsdale BARK wants to get the KIDS involved even more. While volunteering at the Good Samaritan Hospital, I was fortunate enough to witness the amazing change of facial expressions of kids – once they noticed my dog Zola. She’s not that difficult to miss anyway – as she tips the scale at about 140-pounds! The genuine joy that comes to kids when around dogs is just amazing! 

We have witnessed it first-hand how much of a difference a simple petting of a dog can make. The difference is big enough to discuss the importance of education with kids and dogs. You will find everything from breed history; advice on whether or not two-dogs are best – compared to just one; and many other discussion topics that will open the doggie-door for your feedback!
